Healthcare
Netflix provides a health benefit allowance of AUD 300 per month to cover your healthcare premiums. The allowance is paid as taxable income.

Sick Leave and Disability
We realize folks get sick from time to time. In case of a short-term illness or injury, you can use your unlimited time off to rest and get well. If you can’t work for an extended amount of time because of a disabling illness or injury, Netflix will continue to pay you 100% of your salary for up to 3 months.

Additionally, Netflix provides a Life/Disability benefit allowance of AUD 250 per month to cover personal life insurance and/or disability salary continuation insurance premiums.  The allowance is paid as taxable income and will be combined with the healthcare allowance on your payslip (ie: AUD 550 will be listed on each payslip as a Benefit Allowance).

Retirement Pension
Netflix will contribute 9.5% of salary each month to employee's Superannuation account (up to a maximum of AUD 5,012.20 per Quarter in the 2017-2018 financial year).  Please note that the salary indicated in the Offer Letter is inclusive of the Superannuation contribution.  This employer contribution applies even if the employee has multiple employers.

Life Coverage
We care about the well-being of our Netflix team and their loved ones. We are committed to providing a USD equivalent $1.5 million benefit to ensure our full-time employees’ beneficiaries are supported financially in the event of loss of life. Upon confirmed payment of insurance benefit by a personal life insurance (if applicable), Netflix will supplement the insurance payment up to a combined total of USD equivalent $1.5 million.

Netflix will pay a AUD 250 per month allowance to cover personal life insurance and/or disability salary continuation insurance premiums.  To clarify, this AUD 250 monthly allowance is the same allowance mentioned above.

Important note on the definition of salary: Where salary is mentioned, calculations are based off of adjusted salary if you are allocating a supplemental amount to the Netflix, Inc. Stock Option Program.
