Netflix provides health insurance through Religare. Coverage begins on the first day of hire and includes inpatient treatment, day care procedures and maternity. All pre-existing diseases are covered from day 1. Contributions are 100% covered, up to INR 500,000 per family, including employees, partner/child(ren) and one set of parents.

Sick Leave and Disability
We realize folks get sick from time to time. In case of a short-term illness or injury, you can use your unlimited time off to rest and get well. If you can’t work for an extended amount of time because of a disabling illness or injury, Netflix will continue to pay you 100% of your salary for up to 3 months.

If a disabling injury extends beyond 3 months (work or non-work-related) due to an accident, you will be eligible for the company-paid personal accident coverage through Religare. The benefit for total or partial disability is 6x annual CTC (Cost to Company) or temporary total disablement of 1% sum insured or INR 10,000 whichever is less per week up to 104 weeks.

Retirement Benefit Scheme
Netflix will provide an additional allowance for retirement, which is 12% of the basic salary grossed up. This allowance is intended to replace Employee Provident Fund (“EPF”) contributions only until Netflix is required to register for and begins to make contributions into EPF on your behalf, at which time this allowance is considered replaced in full and will no longer be provided.
